No way I can manage a bath either ... I just don't bend enough in the right places any more! A shower, however well powered, doesn't quite cut the mustard. But yes, we can dream Lyn x

No baths for me either, I can't remember when I last had one! Showers are just not the same.

Hi guys I probably shouldn't say, but I did manage a bath tonight! Getting in is fine (well sort of) - getting out is more difficult - but I do have a bath seat which helps! I do feel like a bit of an old lady!!! Went to my nieces wedding yesterday... just about made it through the day and got home at 1 am this morning - been a nice wreck today!! Hopefully tomorrow will be better...... always have to look on the positive Just booked my 18 year old son to take me to the knee appt on Friday!! He doesn't quite drive like I do... but can't be too fussy!!!! love to you all Anne x

but to be honest i love my power shower,
it's funny how you adapt to things .. a bath just doesn't appeal to me now.

I'm with you Suzanne. I can't bathe now either but showering is so much easier I don't want a bath anymore.

Now, being a manufacturer of luxury bath products I would always recommend them, I can still get in and have developed a rib tickling technique to get out, that stubborn bloody mindedness again. I find they really help, I prescribe myself 2 a week at least. Dead Sea Salts are almost magic as well as being relaxing etc.... Jenni, haven't you got one on order as an essential piece of kit during your building works? I think they should prescribe heated, sunken, outdoor spa baths with hoist for us all, come on then who's going to organise the march? Sara x

Hello All
I have no bath we had it taken out 4 years ago when I was getting so stiff/pain. I really miss it though especially as Jenni says , wet cold and windy and want to relax those muscles. I do have a lovely walk in shower though.

LOVE my bath. I've got one of those inflatable lift thingies and Steve lifts my legs in. Not elegant but oh so wonderful! Hate showers but maybe one day I'll have no choice. Love to allxxxx

I too would love a bath. Really miss having one especially after a bad day when i'm tired and achy. When we went on holiday we couldn't get the shower attachment to work on the first night and neither could the night receptionist. I was dreading having to pack and move to another room in the morning but the cleaner got it working for me!

I don't even have a bath ... when I moved to the bungalow and had the bathroom re-built, I had a walk-in shower with a seat in it. BUT ... I do go to hydrotherapy every week and, apart from not having the bubbles, it is just wonderful being in lovely, deep, warm water for half an hour!
